I'm going to India.
If anything exciting happens, you could leave me a comment on this post. I mean, I'm not expecting anyone to, but I'm not expecting to read two weeks worth of LJ when I get back either, so this is my polite way of giving you a mechanism for inviting me to parties / getting my congratulations / commisserations etc.

Good luck :)
Yay India, why are you going, how long for, etcetc
I hope you have a wonderful time!
How exciting! Have a safe trip!
Just out of curiosity... have you been to Girton college before?

Yes, lots, why? When I lived in Girton I did lots of my revision in the library, and lazed around the grounds watching the black squirrels lots. I was even curious enough to look up the origin to the door signs saying "celebrating the age of obedient ears". And the swimming pool is marvellous
OK, I'm a Girtophile, I'll admit it :-)
Just thinking of the old statistic "More Cambridge students have been to India than have been to Girton." :)
Girton's in Oxford, isn't it?
"Hello, is that Girton college? Yes, I'm wondering if you can help me. I left Girton three years ago... and I still haven't reached the town centre."
Wow, I hope you have a wonderful time. By the time you get back I may well have got a party together, so I'll be sure to let you know :)

Gosh! Err, congratulations! Does this mean you're not taking up dress making as a career?

Bon voyage, and I hope good things come out of it.
