It's a kind of magic...
Well, for a girl who's supposed to be alone in the house working hard at Catam I seem to have acquired an awful lot of company today... except the two people in question, both of whom claim to love me very dearly and moan they don't get to see me enough are currently wrapped up in a very long slow dull game of MtG, so I seem to have drifted back to LiveJournal again (well, it'd be rude to go and *work* wouldn't it?) It's a bit of a clash of the titans, as they both seem to favour incredibly complicated decks with jazzy intelligent sly combos, and both seem to have failed to get the combo out they need. Much glowering. (Including a little bit from me, as my nice sociable suggestion of Canasta got quashed by Stu opinionatedly ranting for about five minutes on how it only works as a partnership game... and my following suggestion of Knaves led the two of them into a loud debate about which were the most strategic hearts varients... and then to a nice long conversation about magic (we really are talking about an hour here) before they actually started to play. Still, it's probably doing Stu some good, which is the point of the exercise, and it is nice to see him...

It wasn't really an hour, was it? I could've sworn we were playing by half 11. Ah well. It was fun, which is the point.

Besides, you were playing with the same deck later on, and saying 'Ooh, shiny deck!'.

Silly game. ;-)
