Why does everything happen at once and need sorting by me?

To whit:
1) I have 5 supervisions this week. 5. Count them. That would be one a day, if it wasn't for the fact the A+O lecturer looks just as stressed as me and moved todays to Wednesday. Of course, I haven't done any work for them

2) CULES
a) Having told them to make sure they have a Queens' T1 teccie as they have no venue without a teccie, I bumped into the said teccie down town today, who said he wasn't doing it because he was doing 2 other shows that day. This was a mild Arrrrrgh moment. However, have now found another teccie (touch wood)
b) The person in charge of cinderella posters has drawn a quick doodle on lined paper, and then given it to Tancredi, expecting him to do words, etc. Tancredi isn't sure why he's suddenly become responsible for the posters other then "because he owns a scanner" and so is refusing to do them. Because I was the only person with enough of a brain to mention we need posters, I seem to be recieving emails from both of them saying "I'm not supposed to be doing this!" With little PS's along the lines of "don't bother James, he's stressed enough already with the show"
c) CLLM is hidiously underrehersed and don't even know lines yet. This is bad as their first performance is a week today. This happens to be the performance that I really stuck my neck out on the line for (Jimmies have never had any entertainment thing provided before, and took A Lot of persuading. I would hate to see it all thrown away by a crap show.)
d) The Newton trust have picked NOW to demand an explanation for what I did on my summer holidays. Ie, not going on the project that we spent 200 pounds of their money on in my name. Sigh
e) I have a nasty suspicion my tutor never sent off the alcohol permission forms I gave him weeks ago... I've emailed him about it twice now and got No Answer

3) Campus, and their damned pub collection. I seem to have moved enough mountains to get permission, but the tins are in London, and as for the badges and the seals... oh well, it's not until Friday

4) Parents, and christmas, and car insurance, and changing the name on my driving license, and people dying and stuff. But I'm too busy to be upset right now...

5) A need to be happy, and sociable, and have dinner with people, and go dancing, and go to formal hall, and concerts, and bell ring, and country dance because if not I'm Letting Everybody Down

I suppose it doesn't look too bad when it's all written down. It's nearly the end of term. It'll all be fine

...because if not I'm Letting Everybody Down

Nonsense. They're sometimes the only thing that stops you worrying about everything else, which makes them good things to do, but in the end you need to cry off and work, then so be it.

atreic: *sympathy*. Cambridge is savage like this, in my experience: too much, too fast, all the time, no respite, and with the list of things there... well, coping to _any_ extent is remarkable. You and Matthew should come round for dinner some night...

(aside - emp: Like the userpic!)

CULES Poster

*Waves camera and photoshop about*

If you're desperate I could maybe help with the poster. It looks a couple of hours work which I'd probably enjoy putting most of it together. It would mainly consist of a whole bunch of random photos stuck together but if that's ok with you then I could probably knock one together.
