Tired. If it wasn't for foundation coffee I don't think I'd have made it through that supervision. Really great supervision though, we went through all of the lecture notes picking up on all the bits that had bothered me, and the nice superviser is prepaired to put up with me again next week, which gives me time to try some more questions, and gives him time to mark the ones I did this morning. I really do have to get that course solid though, it's my favourite one.

It's raining....

...but it wasn't the other night the last time I wrote this, just before going for a starry walk through Clare gardens and up castle hill with Matthew. Really beautiful with mist on the river by moonlight and the lights of Cambridge spread out before us from the top of the castle.

Then I failed to work for all except 20 minutes yesterday, but saw Rhian for the first time in ages on Kate's girly shopping trip, and had a glorious time punting with Cathy, Kate and Matthew. Dramatically saving the punts that were about to be swept over Jesus weir was a highlight of the trip - wonder whose they were?

Tom came round breifly in the evening, and it was very good to see him, although still bittersweet. Then the CUSFS storytelling (Matthew has such a cool group of friends, but I'm very conscientious they only know me as "Matthews girlfriend" which left me a bit too nervous to speak straight) and cards till far too late...

Managed to work today, mainly due to Matthew working dilligently and shaming me into actually revising. And then a good supervision... and that's this journal back up to date...
