It has just crossed my mind what a great space Little Saint Mary's would be for playing with an indoor boomarang in.

This Evil Thought of the Day was bought to you by sleep deprevation; an inability to turn off my brain; too much to do tomorrow; too many people I care about being too far away, too busy, or both; the letter P and the number 23

I suppose the problem is if the candles set fire to the boomerang.

I also suppose I should get a darned sight more reverant before going off to represent LSM in India...

I think the boomerang thing sounds like an excellent idea. :D

Good morning!

Why settle for indoor boomarang in Little Saint Mary's?

Why not indoor frisbe in Saint Paul's?

Cricket is rather more likely to break things...

Would be fun though...

...and there's plenty of space for it in St. Paul's

P.S. Am refering to the big St. Paul's in London rather than the little one in Cambridge, as I've just realised that wasn't clear...

Gabriel: But, miss, that's all very well, but in 2005, in cambridge, there's a little girl who won't have much space to throw a boomerang in.
God: Hmmm. So, class, what do you think I should do about this?
Mike: Perhaps put a big big building there?
God: That's a nice answer mike, but mostly I'm designing things like species and continents. A building might be a bit too detail orientented.
Uriel: And might not last 6013 [1] years.
All: Shut up, Uri!
God: Suggestions? More in keeping with the whole theme?
Gabe: Ooh, miss, miss! Make them build it, miss!
God: Good. And how?
Gabe: Um.
God: Why should people waste effort on building a big useless building?
Uriel: To form communities. But you mean why *would* they.
Mike: To worship, um, something?
God: Ah, better than I expected. I think I shall reveal myself to the people, and cause them to build churches all over europe.
God: Word!
All: And lo, the word of god went to earth, etc, etc. Josh, etc, etc.

[1] Pun intended.

Dunno! Don't think so, though, unless maybe at a cam.misc meet if you ever go to those? I work at Cambridge Consultants, btw.

Because if they get the impression that *all* English people will want to play indoor boomerang in their cathedral then it might not help international relations...

Aaah, that makes sense. I thought you meant that you'd have to less irreverant to represent LSM which struck me as odd!

I'm shocked by your lack of castigation for atreic's irreverence, yrieithydd. One day it's indoor-boomerang-throwing in church, and before you know it you're a polygamous Arian Ranter. Shame on you!

[/sarcasm] - for those of you who didn't get it.

It would, wouldn't it? But you'd have to move the pews, I think, if they will move. Otherwise you'd be scrabbling around on your knees to retrieve the boomerang all the time, because you can just bet it'd go under them.

Brought. 'Bought' is the past tense of 'buy'.
